Produced by Juliet for The Downlow Concept, this comedy drama for TVNZ followed a struggling Kiwi covers band trying to claw their way back into the spotlight, mostly by playing other people’s songs. Filmed over six weeks across gritty bars, smelly band rooms and chaotic live gig setups, Juliet managed the full production logistics. Coordinating a 50 strong crew, tight schedules and a tone that shifted constantly between loud, hilarious and the nostalgic lift of classic kiwi tunes.
